Complications

Rose was sitting in the Mysticville Grill at the bar. She asked for a drink and sat there until she saw Jeremy walk in with Jeremy.
Matt and Caroline walked in from the other door.
<i>Just great!</i> Rose thought and clenched her fist. <I>Why must Mysticville include vampires! There nothing but a waste of space!<i>
Jeremy walked over and stood at the bar next to Rose. "Well hello, there Rosie."
"You're taken a big risk being here, bloodsucker." Rose hissed, "I can loose my temper at any time and phase and rip you to shreds."
"But Rose, than I'd have to compell the bartender and I can't do that if I'm dead." Jeremy said, he wasn't afraid of the mutt.
"You're playing a dangerous game, Jeremy." Rose scowled and took a sip from her drink.
Jeremy was suddenly serious. He grabbed Rose's arm and squeezed it until he knew it hurt, "Don't you ever threaten me or Damon again, or you'll regret it." He turned around and walked out of the grill.

Matt and Caroline sat at a table as Damon came over. "Hey," he said.
"Hi," Caroline smiled while Matt narrowed his eyes at the tall boy across from him. He didn't mind Damon but he knew what he was as did Damon knew what he was. The two were never in conflict even though they were two different immortals that were meant to kill each other but they did know each other from childhood.

Karolli and Darius sped through town trying to find somewhere to eat since they hadn't eaten in a while. Darius smiled sympathetically at Karolli and said, "It's your fault for waiting so long to eat, you know."
Karolli winced as a sharp pain seared across her stomach and let out a growl. "Shut up and find me a place to eat at!"
Darius rolled his eyes and finally pulled into a parking lot for the Mysticville Grill. A tall dark haired guy was walking out, cursing a some girl named Rose.
Karolli flashed him a smile and then cursed under her breath. "Vampire.." She breathed. Darius tensed at the V-word and then pointed to the guy heading towards his car.
Karolli nodded and Darius groaned. He swung open the car door and helped out Karolli. They entered the grill and were surprised to find Matt and Caroline there, along with a few others teenagers they didn't know.

Caroline waved to Karolli while Matt cursed under his breath.
Rose turned around and her eyes lit up when she spotted Darius. "Fresh meat, just what we need."
Damon looked behind to see Darius and Karolli and shot a glance at Matt. New comers were never a good thing.

Karolli waved hello to Caroline and then gave a leering smile to Matt. She nudged Darius with her elbow and pointed to Matt. He grinned as well, then took Karolli's hand and led her over to Caroline and Matt. Karolli sat beside Matt and Darius beside her. She leaned her head on her left arm and then purred, "Hey Matt. I didn't expect to see you two here."
Darius laughed and then leaned back on his arms, surveying the restaurant when his eyes landed on a girl with dirty blonde hair who was staring at him. He nodded his head to her and she flashed him a smile, then stood up to come talk to him.

Rose walked over to the group of teenagers, her gaze fixed on Darius. "Well hello there," she shot him a smile, sitting down beside Damon deliberatly. She felt him stiffen with satisfaction.
Damon gritted his teeth. Was this mutt really going to push it?
Caroline felt Damon stiffen beside her but said nothing. She curiously watched Karolli around Matt.
"What do you want?" Matt demanded coldly.

Karolli giggled as Matt snapped at her coldly and then replied, "Nothing, Matt. Just glad I got to see you again. You know, we had to leave so quickly last time, it's a pleasure to see you again."
Darius waved over to the blonde as she sat beside one of Caroline's friends, causing him to stiffen. Interesting. Darius thought. The girl is obviously a werewolf. So maybe the guy is a vampire. That would explain his reaction...

"What do you want?" Damon asked quietly, his voice unusually hard.
"Silly, Damon. I'm not here to talk to you. I want to talk to him," Rose said, turning her silvery gaze on Darius.
Before talking to Karolli, Matt looked at Rose. "Aren't you a little old to be hanging out with teenagers?" Causing a snicker from Damon and a fierce glare from Rose Matt turned back to Karolli.
"We saw each other like five minutes ago.. and I've decided... I need your guys' help," he added the last part quietly.
Caroline could feel the tension in the air like a lightning storm and smiled weakly.

Darius snickered at Matt's crack at Rose and then managed to get his emotions under control. He scoffed at Matt and then said, "Matt, age is but a number. And besides, you should be happy someone like Rose is willing to give up her precious time to hang out with us."
Karolli giggled at Darius and then asked, "You always have to be such a charmer, don't you?"
Darius shrugged and replied, "Only to pretty girls."
Karolli rolled her eyes and swiveled in her chair to face Matt. She batted her eyes at him a few times and laid her head on his shoulder. She leaned upwards towards his cheek and murmured, "Well Matt, sometimes a few minutes can seem like a lifetime to someone else."
She waited until Caroline had turned her head to face Damon and added, "If you really do need my help, come to Darius' house at eleven tomorrow. Until then, just enjoy the show."

Matt shrugged Karolli off of his shoulder. He shot a quick glance at Caroline's direction and whispered, "Fine. I'll be there."
Damon was talking with Caroline, knowing each other since preschool it seemed easy to talk to the dark haired brunette. "Caroline, are you going to the Fonder's Day Ball?" He asked curiously.
"Next week? I have to. Y'know, the Night's being one of the Fonder's. Matt's going too. Are you?" She asked.
Damon nodded. "What about you two?" He turned to Karolli and Darious, completely ignoring Rose.
Rose rolled her eyes. Stupid bloodsucker.

Karolli made a face at Matt as he shrugged her off of his shoulder. She rolled her eyes at him and then turned to Damon as he addressed her about attending the 'Fonder's Day Ball.' Karolli looked at Darius curiously and asked, "Do you want to go?"
Darius' eyes sparkled and his smile was light. "Sure. It'll give us a chance to meet the other...residents in this town."
Karolli shook her head, fighting to keep her smile hidden. She looked to Damon and replied, "I guess we are. Are you going to be there?"
Darius looked around the room once more and noticed Rose, staring at Damon icily. He slid off of his seat beside Karolli and walked over to sit next to her.
"Are you alright?" He asked softly.

Damon nodded, "I gotta be. Lockwood's are also one of the Fonder's and being Jeremy's adopted brother, we both gotta go," he said.
"Just fine," Rose said, her eyes narrowed.

Werewolves

Werewolves are immortals that can transform into wolves, though there is a set back. A werewolf can only phase on the night of a full moon and during that time the process into phasing is painful and the werewolf will eventually go insane, attacking anything or anyone in their way. When the sunrises after the full moon they are back to normal. Most werewolves don't like what they've become but some do and insist that they must change whenever they may ask a witch to make them a ring or something that is charmed to do so. Werewolves and vampires rarely get along. Not very often will a werewolf befriend a vampire. Werewolves are strongest on a full moon. Some abilities include, extreme strength, speed, and agility. They are also able to self heal. Their weakness is wolfsbane, a strong herb that is deadly to werewolves and weakeness them. If a werewolf is bitten by a vampire they will die and may or may not become a vampire.

Darius Hall

Darius is a sweet and caring 19 year old guy who tries his best to keep Karolli out of trouble, but never really does a good job. Due to the fact that he is a werewolf hybrid, Karolli gives him much of her attention and puts his life above the life of others. Darius loves Karolli very much and is her loyal pet/lover/best friend. He is very protective of her and would do anything to make her happy. His father, who was a werewolf, killed his mother one full moon and then retaliated by killing himself in front of Darius. Karolli is his little girlfriend/best friend.

Vampires

Vampires are immortals that are said to be evil. They do not get along well with werewolves... ever, and are often in conflict though they prefer to stay away. Some abilities include fast speed and agility, extreme strength, and they are able to compell humans only. Like all legends of vampires they cannot walk in the daylight unless they are made something that allows them too, by a witch. If a vampire is bitten by a werewolf they will die, only some lucky enough come back to life but as a werewolf. To become a vampire, a vampire must've bitten you, fed you their blood, and in a 24 hour radius, die. Eventually the mortal will become immortal.
Vampires are able to self heal but their weakness is vervain, a strong herb that weakens vampires. Vampires must drink a form of blood to survive meaning either human or animal blood. In order to go into a house they must be welcomed, if not they've absolutely no way in.

Damon Mitchell

Tall brown haired 16 year old boy with dark brown eyes. He is mysterious, and doesn't give much of an awnser. He is also fearless and brave. Curioustity always seems to get the better of him though at times he sticks to the shadows and is often seen going into the forest and not coming out for a day or two. He is a werewolf-vampire hybrid but no oone knows but him. Even his adopted brother. Everyone else thinks he is a human and other vampires thinks he is just vampire as well. His older, adopted brother is Jeremy.

Witches

Witches, or in male cases, warlocks are beings that are powerful. They have paranormal powers that begin developing as teenagers. They are known for their code of loyalty and their bond as members of an extended family. The witches that fled when The Salem Witch Trails started. They are servents of nature and do their best to keep balance. Powers and abilities inclide, spell casting, clairvoyance, the ability to control all four elements. Being able to move things with the mind and able to manipulate the weather as well as electricity, pain infliction, mind stunning, and mind control. They are also immune to being compelled by vampires.

Fallera Aymæ Marcer

18 year old witch with blond hair and natural brown highlights. Fallera has strange, greenish silver eyes that seem to pierce your soul. She is sassy, headstrong, and one who doesn't let anyone tell her what to do. Fallera has a creepy talent with inflicting pain with witchcraft and mind control. She only does things for others, like making changing potions or rings for werewolves for someone if they do something for her. After her parents realized that she was a witch they disowned her after she turned 15. She has been living with her then 28 year old foster father, Markus Marcer, and has taken his last name. After learning from him, Fallera is a very educated and powerful witch.
